“The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. ” –Robert Frost

Hey Webbies,

What would you do if you knew the exact date and time you were going to die? Would you waste your life trying to prevent it? Or would you live your life to its fullest potential?

Jesus was sent to Earth knowing that his time would come and yet he used his time doing virtuous acts. This hurts my soul when I think about it not because he knew his time was coming to an end but for how he spent his time.

If you only have 24 hours to live, would you wake up that day thinking: How many people can I save in 24 hours or would you think about all the things going wrong? For example, you go to your favorite place to eat and order your favorite ice cream and they are out. Are you going to focus on how that store ruined your last 24 hours because they did not have your favorite ice cream to eat on your last day?

All my life I have always viewed things from the negative side. I do not know why I do it, I just do. I have been trying to change my point of view but it has become such a habit I do not realize when I am doing it. But here’s the thing, about negativity, the devil feeds off it. It spreads like wild-fire destroying everyone in its path. Negative people do not have many friends, because honestly who want to hang around someone who is negative all the time.

Therefore, in order for me to become more like the virtuous Proverbs woman, I need to kill my negativity every day. I need to send it to the morgue and have it buried. But I won’t have a funeral for it because it’s already wasted my precious time. So for me, I want to try my hardest to live out the time I have living my life to my maximum potential and give it nothing short of my all. Just like Peter says in 1 Corinthians 15:31, “I face death every day…” When I wake up each morning, I will ask God to use me and save as many people as I can. If that means one of my readers, I accept this challenge. I know it will not be easy, and I know I will want to quit. Take each 24 hours at a time. A lifetime seems like forever…but an eternity is much longer.

So my Webbies think with a clear mind. Bury the negatives. And never let the tag touch your toe before your time comes.

As always, feel welcome to leave any thoughts or comments.

Until next time,

Kalah
